Matt Woody, President of EHS Resource Group LLC and a nationally recognized provider of HAZWOPER training

We consider it a privilege to serve Magellan Midstream Partners, Koch Industries, Cargill, Archer Daniels Midland, Vermeer Manufacturing, USDA, Ajinomoto, Hy-Vee, ConocoPhillips, Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship, Mid American Energy and many other great companies.  We are strongly committed to providing the highest quality OSHA-compliant HAZWOPER and Permit Require Confined Space training presented by qualified instructors with many years experience in the field.  We will provide training in a manner that is interesting to the participant, invites their participation and recognizes that adults learn through a variety of training methods including hands-on activities, group work and critical thinking.  Matt Woody, President of EHS Resource Group LLC and a provider of OSHA training for over twenty-five years

Here is what some of our participants have had to say about EHS Resource Group’s HAZWOPER training:

“Excellent exercises.  Was never bored!”  A chlorine emergency responder from a large metropolitan water production facility

“The class will not only help me in my role with plant security, but as a County Sheriff’s Deputy”  An industrial security and law enforcement professional in a recent HAZWOPER training class

“On a scale of 1-10 I’d give this course a 9-10.  It’s the best I’ve had.”  Member of an industrial spill response team

“Excellent class.  Made sense.  Appreciated your experience with actual emergency response.  Your thumb rules and learning tools will be very helpful.  Thanks!”  Comments from fire department hazardous material technicians in our Handling Fuel Tanker Emergencies course

“The course was well worth the time.  The instructors were excellent.”  Participant in one of our state fire school HAZWOPER training classes

“I was interested the whole time.”  Hazardous materials technician

“Liked the teaching style, it was very down to earth and explained many questions.  I enjoyed and learned.  I liked how you simplified the process of personal protective clothing selection.”  Comments from our air monitoring course

“Just wanted to drop you a quick note to tell you I enjoyed the OSHA HAZWOPER training.  You did well at keeping the material interesting.  Please keep me updated on any training opportunities in the future.”  A solvent distributor

“I’ve had HAZWOPER training before but it was all classroom presentation and pretty boring.  This is the best training I’ve had.”  Safety supervisor for an environmental remediation contractor

OSHA HAZWOPER training can be painfully boring when it is a recitation of the regulations (29CFR 1910.120).  Aside from being law, the HAZWOPER regulations provide guidelines that are critical to ensuring the safety of your personnel while cleaning up or responding to hazardous substances.  When HAZWOPER training is boring or “one-dimensional” participants are much less likely to retain important information or acquire vital skills.  They will be at greater risk in the workplace as a result and your facility, installation or organization will be more vulnerable.

Our commitment to you goes well beyond HAZWOPER training compliance.  We want to help you, as one of our clients put it “do it well”.  When required HAZWOPER training is high quality and presented by excellent instructors with years of field experience it becomes a learning opportunity.  And if the material is presented to participants in a way that recognizes the unique ways adults learn, it’s a win/win.  Employees retain more of the skills and information that will help them operate safely and you’ll enjoy a higher level of preparedness and protection.  You’ll also enjoy knowing they’re safer.
